Sharing Personal Information

We share Personal Information with service providers that help us operate the Site and fulfill our contracts. For example, Shopify powers our online store, payment providers process transactions and delivery partners transport orders. You can read more about Shopify’s handling of customer information in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights and users, prevent fraud or support a business transaction such as a sale or merger.

Behavioural advertising

Where permitted, we may use Personal Information to measure advertising or show marketing that may be relevant to you. Analytics and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to understand interactions with the Site. You can use the privacy controls displayed on the Site, adjust your browser settings and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message.

Using Personal Information

We use Personal Information to provide our services, including offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfilling orders, providing customer support, preventing fraud, improving the Site and keeping you informed about products or offers where permitted.

Lawful basis

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process Personal Information under one or more lawful bases: your consent; performance of a contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; protection of vital interests; tasks in the public interest where applicable; and our legitimate interests where those interests do not override your rights and freedoms.

Retention

When you place an order, we retain relevant Personal Information for our records until it is no longer needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or other legal purposes, or until a valid deletion request applies.

Automatic decision-making

We do not use customer information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that have a legal or similarly significant effect. Shopify and payment or fraud-prevention providers may use limited automated processing to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.

GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or another region with similar rights, you may request access to the Personal Information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, updated or erased, request a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

Your information may be processed outside your country, including in countries where Shopify or our service providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

United States Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to know or access the Personal Information we collect, request correction or deletion, receive a portable copy, and opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale or sharing activities as those terms are defined by applicable law. You may also be able to use an authorized agent. We may need to verify a request before completing it, and legal exceptions may apply.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information stored on your computer or device. We use functional, performance, analytics and, where permitted, advertising cookies. Cookies help the Site remember actions and preferences, support checkout, reduce fraud and show us how people use the store.

Cookies necessary for the store

Shopify uses essential cookies for functions such as secure access, shopping-cart activity, checkout, localization and fraud prevention. Other cookies may support performance, analytics or advertising. Cookie names and durations can change as Shopify and connected services are updated.

You can manage cookies through any consent controls shown on the Site and through your browser’s settings. Removing or blocking cookies can affect functionality, and some parts of the Site may no longer work as intended.

Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not alter our practices solely when such a signal is detected. Where required, we honor applicable opt-out preference signals through the privacy tools available on the Site.

Children’s Privacy

Our products may be intended for children, but the Site and its purchasing services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The revised version will appear on this page with an updated date.
